Ultraviolet Waves are emitted from the sun and are used to add Vitamin D to the body and kill Microbes. Visible light rays are used everyday to see, Radio waves transmit signals, and Microwaves transmit heat to water particles.

Our Sun is a Yellow Dwarf, it is also classified as a G2V and a main sequence star. Ultra Violet rays are emitted from the Sun and affect us from Earth by causing Sun Burns and affecting temperature here in Earth. Luckily, Earth has a protective layer filled with oxygen called the atmosphere. The sun is unique considering it's size is average and it does not have any other stars near it.
