Exposure is a method allowing the right amount of light into a photograph and this can be controlled by changing the aperture setting, no matter if the photograph is already too light or too dark. There are three elements to exposure, these three elements have been labelled as an exposure triangle so it can easily be remembered. 
All three elements are effected by each other and they have to all be used in the process. Using a camera light meter will help you achieve the correct exposure as it will give an accurate reading of how much light is already in the photograph, helping you find out if your image is already too exposed or under exposed. The exposure triangle has other functions, the camera also records focus and movement, all of the information can be seen through the viewfinder. 

ISO
ISO controls the camera sensitivity to light and this can be changed to suit any situation. The higher the ISO the more sensitive to light the camera will be. A lot of cameras have the following ISO numbers:
100-200-400-800-1600-3200
high ISO settings that are usually 800+ are more useful in low light conditions and low ISO such as 100-400 are useful in light conditions. 
The higher the ISO the worse the quality is of your photograph, which means the photograph may look grainy. 

Aperture
Aperture controls whether the image is over or under exposed correctly, aperture also controls the depth of field, how much of the image is in focus. the aperture is controlled by the contracting and expanding of the iris in the lens. 

Shutter Speed
Shutter Speed controls how much light comes into the camera. its other purpose is to control movement in the picture. When you change the aperture settings you must also set the shutter speed.

All three elements of the exposure triangle combine to record light, movement, and focus, if all of the elements are understood this allows the photographer to have full control of the image, allowing them to create the desired outcome.

Depth of Field shows a main focus of the photograph telling you where to look when handed a photo.

you can create your own presets from them, meaning you can save a list of commands that alters the image in a certain way, this is then creating a filter. Just like instagram filters as that basically means fancy presets.

selfies are pictures taken by yourself on technology like phones, this is very popular in todays generation and is very popular on social media, most selfies you can see the arm of the person taking the photo. selfies are also usually of the person posing in ways to look 'perfect'.

the angle of the camera view will produce a different effect/perspective. different depths of field will direct the audiences eye towards the subject of your photograph, as that will be the main part in focus so it happens automatically. the difference between camera orientation is all about the way the photograph is taken which is either landscape or portrait. frame, cropping and content insists of zooming in and out depending on how much you are wanting in the photograph and which parts you want. zooming out gives you a wide angle photograph. changing the focal length of the lens changes the image perspective and alters the depth of field. wide angle photography can be unflattering and it can also make an image look unnatural, it all depends on what you're trying to achieve to decide whether this is good or not.

sensor size can vary massively depending on the make and model of the camera, sensor size also impacts on the field of view through the lens. sensor size also has an impact on the ISO sensitivity with how well it responds to light, this is more noticeable in lower light conditions. photographs taken with small sensors such as a phone will have more noise than photographs taken will larger sensors.
