Ms. Paige has over 8 years in childcare experience and over 3 years in a classroom setting. My goal for this school year is that every child will walk away from my classroom knowing that they are loved and valued. It's important for children to not only be emotionally ready to move to the next grade level, but academically too.

Students will have an activity talking about their school and friends. Students will also play in centers guided by this week's theme. 

Tuesday: Students will learn the importance of the workers from the teachers to the cook to the janitor. Students will have a special sensory bin from objects that they would find around the school. 

Wednesday: Music and movement will be the highlight of our day! There is a large group activity planned along with a scavenger hunt. 

Thursday: Is tumble day! Students will be able to enjoy their tumble class. We will continue to discuss our school and everyone in it. Students will be able to paint/decorate a "Thank You" card to someone around the building. 

Friday: Pajama Day! Every Friday we have a field day planned to celebrate all the things we have learned this week.   • Having dinner as a family and discuss the things that everyone did/learned that day.

  • BREC- Community & Kids: One of BREC's main focuses is to develop progamming that helps families and children stay active outdoors. Join a class as a family or attend one of our many community events for a day of family fun. There are also camps in the summer and on school holidays, which aim to keep children active while they are away from school. 
  • Early Steps: EarlySteps provides services to families with infants and toddlers aged birth to three years (36 months) who have a medical condition likely to result in a developmental delay, or who have developmental delays. Children with delays in cognitive, motor, vision, hearing, communication, social-emotional or adaptive development may be eligible for services.
  • Head Start Program: Head Start Program provides children with education, leadership, and advocacy. The program promotes the school readiness of children from age three to age five with a pre-school curriculum assisting them in enhancing their cognitive, language, literacy, social, and emotional development. Head Start emphasizes the role of parents as their child's first and most important teacher.
  • Knock Knock Children's Museum: Children learn best through PLAY! At the Knock KNock museum, children are allowed to explore, learn, and grow!
