         <description><![CDATA[<div>John Adams served on the first and second Continental Congress. At the first congress, Adams wanted to push for the right to hold jury trials. Also, during this trial, the Congress wrote the Letter of Grievances to the King which Adams also had a part in forming. During the second continental congress, Adams was a piece in deciding that the need for independence was inevitable. This decision would shape what we know as America&nbsp;today.</div>]]></description>
