Hippos, crocodiles, baboons, elephants, hyenas and lions are just examples of wildlife you might find along the Zambezi River. Humans use the river for transportation, irrigation, tourism and hydropower. The Zambezi river has various of dams that allow for hydropower supply for the population. One of the threats of the water security is climate change is forecasted to reduce water availability, through evaporation and reducing rainfall by up to 30% in the next 30 years. </div>]]></description>
