Thinks that you are who you are, even if it isn't your assigned gender. He went against everyone's beliefs and decided that he was going to go with his heart and gut feeling. He wanted to feel happy with/in his body like everyone else is. Even if that means going through the single most life changing surgery known to man kind. She decided to follow her instinct and do what she thought she was born to do, what she thought was her destiny. On the way, there was obstacles, as in having to defeat gods. So he set out on an adventure to find the right stuff. Then one day he stumbled upon a place with trees that have the softest fur known to man. So then he started to cut down the trees. But when he did, the Lorax, aka the voice of the trees, appeared. He would not go away until his job was done. The ending is really what involves this quote. When the once-ler had cut down all of the trees, all of the animals and everything left. He was completely alone. It was only then that he saw that all of these trees had importance. They were the only thing letting the animals and everything stay, the only thing allowing them to breathe air. So he gave a trustworthy boy the last seed so that there could be trees and nature once again. They only have your basic needs as a human. A bed, food, water, shelter, and a bathroom. But it also has no cell phones, no laptops, no playstations, no xboxes, no wiis, and most of all, no internet. Once you cut all of those things out of your life, there will be no more complications.
