Luz- Wow, it has been an amazing 2 years working with you at AF! I still remember the day you started as I patiently waited for you to arrive (making me no longer the new person on the team, hehe). Since that first day we have not only become co-workers collaborating on projects, but close friends. Thank you for always listening to me, sharing family updates, reminding me of our days in the classroom, supporting my growth, teaching me both lessons with work and in life, and for being my person in the office. You are going to be greatly missed not only by me but the schools you have supported these last few years. The care and patience you put into your work when supporting schools will be imcomparable. Although I am SO excited for you and your new role, selfishly I am sad to see you go. But I keep reminding myself this is not a goodbye, but a see you later! And remember, I am always on Slack or a text message away!

Luz-- it has been so wonderful working with you on IC/Greenfield projects AND more importantly, getting to know you! I wish you all the best in your new role. You will be so sorely missed--but I'm also very excited for you and your next adventure!! I hope we keep in touch :).

Luz - When we first met and started working together on the evaluation of a SchoolMint-IC interface, I wasn't sure what to think. You pushed in places I didn't want to be pushed and I initially prepared for a systems arm wrestle. However, I quickly learned that the heart of your process, questions, challenges, was what was best for AF and all our constituents -- kids, families, staff.

You are a miraculous project manager whose combination of interpersonal and technical skills will continue to serve you well in work and life. Anywhere you go will be lucky for your presence! I'm super excited that our paths may cross again as we both support the implementation of SchoolMint in NY and around the county.
