Individuals who claim not to "see color," don't mean that they don't celebrate differences, or that they see their minority students as "just another student;" I feel that they mean that they don't discriminate or fixate on differences. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think my generation was raised (for the most part) to treat everyone as individuals; color, ethnicity, doesn't matter.  However, when I became an adult, I was always so afraid of offending somebody, especially African-Americans.  I realize now if we take the time to understand our differences and accept our differences  but still treat each other fairly as people, the color blindness we were taught to have will eventually fade away.</div>]]></description>
