This makes it that cops inorder for them to search or seize your things if there is a search warrent to search or raide your house car or anything. Another way they can search your things is if there is probable cause or obvious reasons for them to search you your car or other things. Like for instance the cops didnt have a search warrent for them to search me or my homies car but i had a pipe in my pocket that they seen and that gave them a probable cause for them to arrest me and search me and the car. I believe this is also important because a lot of people are falsely accused and don't deserve to be arrested so they can have the right to defend themselves and show innocence.
