This is what my album cover looks like now. I may make a few adjustments later but for now, this is my finished work. I added a glass texture over my image and diamond making it look slightly crystallized. This enhances the album title, Beneath The Skin, as it looks like it is underneath something. The blurry-ness also makes the audience want to find out more about what is inside because the front is unclear.
I added the album title on the top and band name underneath. This, I am unsure of. At first I had both in line, with the band name as big as the album title. However, that made the text look too outstanding. Therefore I decided to make the band name smaller and in the corner. This gives the impression that the band is already well known and that promoting their band name isn't their aim, rather to promote their album. I may move the band name to the left because it looks slightly heavy with the hand and the text on the same side.

The image below is the back cover. I wanted to use the drawing I used for the music video, so I decided to use it for the back. At first I wanted it as the front cover, however because the image wasn't good quality, it looked too dull for a front cover. So instead, I used the image similar to the drawing as the front cover, and this as the back. I used the same filter as the front cover with the glass distortion so there's a consistency throughout the album. I also made it black and white to give it a contrast from the album cover.
The font is also consistent from the front cover and the website. I added the record label logo I created a few months ago, and added copyright information like all cds do. The bar-code is also another convention. I thought about having the track listing all left aligned with numbers for each track. However I decided to follow the indie convention of having it centre aligned across the image.
