There are no opening credits apart from the title itself. The title is overly simplistic to the point where it looks abrupt and boring, using just a black background and dull font . Not only were shots sped up and slowed down, but also other advanced editing techniques were used. A shot that were heavily and well edited in 'Disillusion' were the CCTV  camera scene. The CCTV camera scene used a black and white filter, a green-screen image (of the blinking 'REC' button), a jump cut (to Mary and her satanic drawing), sped up footage, and the 'shaking' footage at the end of scene. Due to the absence of non-diegetic sound, the production lacks any sense of atmosphere (since there is no music or sound effects), making the production not very intense, emotional or enjoyable. The use of non-diegetic sound allows for an eerie atmosphere to be created in the opening, thriller films need unsettling music to accompany the mystery and fear in the scenes. It is clear for the audience to understand who the characters are, what their motivations are, and how the characters and their motivations contribute to the narrative. An example where this lack of technique is shown is in the shot were one character is killed by the clown. Also, instead of using just a simple font and black background, the product deals with the opening credit creatively, by having the title be wrote in both red pen and blood by the antagonist.
