I used the lino box technique, i chose this technique because i found it relaxing and satisfying but yet fun and challenging

2.    Explain how you visually explored the theme of humor or perspectives in your art image? I explored the theme of perspective by carving a worms eye view to a rose and the beauty of nature

 3.    What were some challenges that you faced during this project and how did that affect your final work? The spacing and what to carve out. I wasn't sure how exactly i wanted to do

 2.  How do you want viewers to respond to your work? I want them to be left guessing in whats going on and for them to make they're own stories

 3.  In what ways does your piece show an innovative idea or risk taking on your part?  Be specific and give examples. Decided to make this whole piece by just cutting paper instead of drawing it which is my comfort zone

 4.  How does your piece of art reflect your personal voice or style?  Be specific with examples. I don't necessarily have a style but if i did i did I would consider it to be dark and in a way telling a story

 5.  How did you utilize/focus on the element and principle you were assigned? Be specific and explain with examples from your piece: i used space by the distance from the moon to the buildings and from the buildings to the person up front and i used contrast by making it black and white which is positive and negative space which you can se through the whole piece

The difference is that illustration has font is trying to convey a message

I was thinking about a man sitting alone but wasnt sure how to properly illustrate being alone and i thought what if he wasnt alone and i thought about aliens

I would have painted the background instead of using color pencil

I think it turned out pretty good, i think it did because everything works collectively and the message is conveyed pretty well

 2.  How does your piece of art reflect your personal voice or style?  Be specific with examples. I like to think my style is more on the dark and relatable side which is seen by my background which is black
3.  Explain how your piece explores the antithesis of your topic. It explores it because my topuc was more on the free time and just things to think about and on this piece its opposite and its having no time. This can be seen by the broken clock arms which represents having no time.

2.    Explain how the work in your concentration demonstrates your intent and the investigation of your idea.  You must refer to specific images of your work as examples when explaining.
This theme is explored in my concentration pieces in several ways. On my first concentration you can see someone having some time to just relax and is about to have dinner and on my second concentration piece you can see someone jst walking around in their free time to just walk and think about life but that dies not mean al, thoughts are good. On my last concentration it explores the theme of time but in a different way, instead of having time it represents not having time and this can be seen by the figure in the middle looking stressed and sitting down and the broken clock arms represents not having time.
