Overall I enjoyed doing these writing techniques and is something I believed would have motivated me to write in grade school. With that being said, these practices are something I would love to implement in my classroom in the future because these are great ways to motivate students to write and come up with ideas.

These were engaging yet fun and I can see how successful these might be in the classroom. For me personally, I think the blueprint writing will help students visualize what they want to write about and then might spark memories and topics to write about.

Takeaway as a writer: These techniques were extremely helpful in editing my paper and starting to finalize parts of my memoir. Also creates more structure to my paper and make more sense.

Takeaway as a teacher: These are techniques I would love to implement in my classroom, though I know it would take a long time to teach it'll definitely be helpful for my students. I'm curious how these could be implemented in PK-2 classrooms.

What worked?

• I was able to receive feedback from my peers.

• I liked that the feedback from my peers was genuine and reassured that I was on the right track.

• There was not anything that I didn't like :)

What would you like to differently next time?

• Maybe have us do this in person instead during class?

What do you wish I had done differently?

• Most of the feedback was positive, I wish I had received some sort of constructive feedback...

In this technique it helped me narrow down my ideas into one main writing purpose which helped me in the end with writing to my fullest potential on the topic I liked.

I think that this kind of writing technique is limited to upper grade students and Im curious on how I can implement it into the younger grades.

I might want to be aware of how students can do this kind of writing technique in the classroom while also not straying away from curriculum that is required from the district.

As a writer this supports me in finding different resources that will support my research.

As a teacher this is a great guide for students who might be new to research.
