         <description><![CDATA[<div>Gary Mack was one of the top sports psychology counselors and consultants he has worked with professional athletes from many sports. Gary Mack born in Illinois nicknamed “Gary-Bat-Mack” passed away on October 7, 2002, only one year after releasing his best-selling book Mind Gym. Gary Mack graduated from Gettysburg College and obtained his masters in counseling and psychology at Arizona State University. Gary lived in Arizona with his wife Marie Mack and had a sister Beverly living in Massachusettes. Gary Mack was a trusted source for sports psychology for many. He was a team counselor and sports psychology consultant to the Chicago Cubs, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Phoenix Fire Department.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Are these athletes truly confident in their abilities when they step on their playing field? Do they ever crack under the pressure? In our everyday lives, we all have that moment where we feel everything is collapsing around us and the pressures of life become too much. This happens to the average person without the whole world looking at them you could only imagine how the pressure multiplies when you have billions of people watching your every move. Do sports psychology tools truly help athletes? Gary Mack and other sports physiologists the gateway to mental toughness for athletes. If you have ever played a sport you know that confidence and mental toughness is one of the largest aspects of sports. These tools for mental toughness give confidence to these athletes. Truly separating the athletes from those tools from the rest. It is similar to being given directions to your place of work. </div>]]></description>
