With the increase in suicides and mental illnesses in our community and around the world, action needs to take place in order to fight this together. One thing that I have noticed my friends and I needing is more mental health days than the school gives us currently.

Steps to solve problem:
1. Meet with counselors and administration and present need.
2. Increase number of days available for students.
3. Although I do not have him for a teacher this year, I had him for my previous 3 years of highschool. The experience he gave me in Organic Chemistry junior year was really one of the best classes and experience I have had in a class in highschool. Mr. Payne does a great job of ensuring all students have the help they need in order to be successful and answering all questions when necessary in class.
