They were able to donate 80,000 N95 masks for local healthcare workers out of their own stock. Surveying the wastewater for COVID19 provided both early warning and ongoing development of the COVID19 virus.

NV Energy was able to leverage the NVE procurement team to assist the governor in securing PPE. There was a communication gap, especially during the vaccination piece. People do not realize what wastewater's role is until they are forced to.

The biggest challenge for them was forcing themselves in the line as being recognized as critical employees in the mix with first responders. Prior to the pandemic, the Point Of Dispensing plans were planned, executed and yearly exercises occurred. However,  when those plans were needed during the pandemic they were not given the support. 
Utility critical workers were number 10 on the list for receiving vaccinations even though in reality none of the other functions prioritized would be able to occur without electric, water, or waste water services.

The city of Las Vegas and Henderson administered vaccines differently than CC, and it seems they their prioritization was better. 
In the beginning, testing and results were doing well, but as it went on it got harder and it impacted their workforce.

There were some PPE issues with substitutions.

Personnel. They were lucky in that they had small numbers of people that got sick. However they had issues with getting test results more recently.

Were able to utilize contractors to ensure continuity of operations.  
Transitioning they call center employees to work from home required extensive coordination and equipment.

Pandemic response plan and other emergency response plans are being rewritten in response to AAR analysis.

The separation of crews within work groups so the virus did not spread throughout an entire work group. Using daily conference calls to provide information.

They converted their training trailers as isolation spaces for certain employees and they had it ready in case they needed it.

Ensuring open communication w labor partners at the start of the event ensured minimal union issues.  
RVs were rented at the start of the event for each of the generating systems so they could still provide power in case of stay at home escalation, infection or isolation requirements.  
Researching setting up a contract with a company who could set up basecamps / isolation areas.

Working together in a group, he did not know they they all had similar struggles and they should fight the battle in the future as a team rather than separately.

They were deactivated early on so they did not have set meetings.
