         <description><![CDATA[<div>In quarter 1 I read a passage in class named "Mango Says Goodbye Sometimes" and I annotated the central Idea and Theme. In quarter 2 I had to write an explanatory essay in which i read three text: “A Eulogy for Dr. Martin Luther King” by Robert F. Kennedy, “Oklahoma Bombing Memorial Address” by Bill Clinton and "Gettysburg Address" by Abraham Lincoln, and I had to determine the common purpose. Last but not least I did readings on common lit and answered question about each text along with the assessments.<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During Quarters 1, 2, and 3 i learned how to write argumentative essays, how to read prompts, and i learned about rhetoric devices like repetition, parallelism, imagery, etc. I can use this knowledge in college when I'm reading text and writing essays. The things i learned in english this year&nbsp;are new to me but very helpful.</div>]]></description>
