The game was inspired by the rubber hose style of animation used in cartoons of the 1930s. All the paintings or animations in the game is hand-drawn, unlikely the common used 3d modeling and rendering today, this retro art style gives characters exaggerated movements and expressions, allowing emotions to be conveyed more effectively and making them more engaging.

All the boss characters were designed to tribute the animation of the 1930s, and this rubber hose style just simply evokes the memories of classic cartoons like Micky mouse. Each character designs has variation of shapes or forms, and combined with their attack skills and methods.

Every scene is richly detailed and has a distinct atmosphere: the cozy grandfather's house, the fresh and natural forest, the luxurious casino, and the smoke-filled factory... Also, each scene is closely tied to its boss character, with a very high level of completion.
