Hello!
We are 3-year-old students from CEIP Enrique Segura Covarsi in Badajoz (Spain). Our parents have already signed the authorization to participate in this activity, and throughout the week we are talking about what it means to make peace: being friends, helping each other, caring each other, work as a team... and be happy for each other when things go well.

Class 9ºB remembered and honoured the victims of the Holocaust on 27th January. The students understand and cherish the values of tolerance, non-discrimination, freedom, democracy, peace and the respect for human life.
The activity had a great impact and it's certain that the seeds of peace and non-violence are deep in their hearts and minds.

Throughout the week we, 5th B graders, have celebrated the School Day of Nonviolence and Peace. Firstly, we did a brainstorming of negative words related to violence, using a WordArt form of a STOP sign. The main purpose of the activity was to akcnowledge what violence is and brings and also to tell everyone to STOP VIOLENCE. Here you can fin the wordart.

Then, the students drew their hands and wrote all kinds of messages related to nonviolence. The strongest message was that These hands will never hit anybody!

Last January 27th we celebrated Peace Day at our school.
In class we watched videos and sang songs about peace, then we colored a little flag.
All together outside the school we recite phrases about peace and we release carrier pigeons with messages of peace and we all dance together for peace and friendship.
