People put their ideas together to transport goods around the world. Not only goods but to ideas, for example Buddhism spread throughout the silk road. At first humans weren't trading far because it was long-distance and people were not up to travelling far. This also had something to do with the fact that people believed that they were more or less similar to each other. In addition, other countries were able to improve as a whole. They could improve technologically, which could result in a country become more developed and modern. When they started trading, they finally realised that all the countries were different, there are things in different cultures that they didn't have.
