We aren't sure how she is with children as she has not been around them yet. This smart girl knows how to jump fences, so a well-secured yard is a must. Duri does fine with all other dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. Duri is happy just relaxing, loves water and hiking and while always ready for action, give him a toy and a bowl of good food he is happy. Duri will be fine for someone who does work during the day but wants a companion, he has no separation anxiety. Duri is a big boy and at 5 years old does not appreciate having his tail pulled, ears tugged etc so we think a toddler free home is best. The Alusky is a hybrid dog being a cross between the Siberian Husky and the Alaskan Malamute. He is an attractive medium to large dog who if trained would do well as part of a family with children. He does have a lot of energy though so needs regular exercise and needs a firm hand when it comes to training. He is intelligent, loving and loyal and makes a great pet anyone would love.

With his loving and good-natured temperament, we think he would be a good family dog. He just loves his people and enjoys playtime. Charlie has a high energy level and gets along with all the other dogs he meets. He is curious of felines but is okay around them.
