Based on my observations of the first 7 chapters, the book (If not obviously stated) is going to be based off the idea of a Murder Mystery. After only the first 7 chapters, I humbly believe it is much more than a simple murder mystery. Even though I've read this book a few years ago ( I never read this book; just going by the question ) I noticed that this is the only book that features around a child's mind and thoughts and mind.
The author uses the style of writing that makes any audience, at a young age or being an adult, be reeled in at the notion of a child like style. The effect of this style is that it shows the factor of maturity, shoes the nature of purity and shows the substantial purpose of honesty in a lying world.
I noticed that the novel is organized by prime numbers instead of writing paragraphs upon paragraphs that continuously go and tell you what chapter it is directly. This is an effective strategy because it immediately shows a different set of writing and lets us be reeled in even faster than any other book where it takes us time.
The important information that we learn about Christopher is, like I stated on the questions beforehand, Christopher is a honest child and is honest when it comes to his words, actions, and what he does. Because of the way he shares his information, we learn that he has a family that goes by what he remembers, what he was told, and will be honest about those experiences instead of lying his way out.

Some important information that we learn about Christopher is that he is 15 years and 3 months and 2 days old. His mother passed away from a heart condition and lives with his father. Christopher has a pet rat. Something I realized is that he stresses himself out too much which doesn't allow him to think clearly and then shuts down. I realized this when the police officer was asking him questions and he says, “He was asking too many questions and he was asking them too quickly. They were stacking up in my head like loaves in the factory where Uncle Terry works. The factory is a bakery and he operates the slicing machines. And sometimes a slicer is not working fast enough but the bread keeps coming and there is a blockage. I sometimes think of my mind as a machine…”.

The important information that we learn about Christopher is that he is on the spectrum and due to this, he is not able to comprehend all the emotions that a typical person may feel. He knows the feelings of sadness, anger, happiness and confusion but when they become more complex with different factors involved, he has a rough time trying to figure out how they are feeling. You can also tell that at times he may seem rude or dry, but in reality he is just being completely truthful and himself which is refreshing and something very different than what we typically see from people. Because of the way he shares his information, we learn that he has this fearless side to him and is unapologetically himself. He is not afraid of telling someone how it is and will express anything and everything he is thinking about in the book. Even if it is a fictional story, I find it fascinating that we are getting a new perspective and are able to get into someone’s mind that may seem different or closed off.

Christopher knows every prime number up to 2,750 so each chapter is not labeled 1,2, 3, or 4 but instead arranged by prime numbers. On some of the pages, there are also small notes at the bottom that are Christopher describing something he had said in more detail or to get a better understanding of what he feels about that situation. The writing jumps from one though to the next, with no flow. But, you soon learn that it is just because it is all of Christopher’s thoughts and gives you a better understanding of his thought process. This is an effective strategy because you get to see a writing in a completely new perspective that is not typically portrayed in other books.

The author uses the style of writing that is constantly all over the place but still manages to get the points across that are needed. Throughout the first 37 chapters, you can tell that Christopher is on the spectrum and his writing style is different from the typical book you may read. It is harder for him to comprehend all different kinds of emotions, so his writing is more to the point and direct. He explains at one point at the beginning of the book that he is not good at making jokes or grasping some of these emotions, so it allows you to better understand why the writing sounds so monotone and to the point. Also, his writing jumps from thought to thought with no flow and can at times be difficult to follow. You can tell that he is just writing everything he feels down and is more like a journal than a book. The effect of this style is that it is a very different style than most books are written in and allows you to get into the mind of a person who thinks completely differently than I do.

Based on my observations of the first 7 chapters, I can tell that the book is going to be a murder mystery through the eyes of a boy that thinks in a completely different style than most do. After only the first 7 chapters, I noticed that at times it is hard to follow but in the end everything comes together and makes sense like putting puzzle pieces together. It is fascinating to see the perspective of Christopher and how his own unique talents allow him to think outside of the box than what the police may think and hopefully help him solve the case. Even though I've read this book a few years ago, I noticed that there are many metaphors that coincide with the theme of our module which is telling lies and also something Christopher is unable to do.
