Miraflores is a highly  cosmopolitan district located in the south center of Lima, the capital city of Peru. It is a very agreeable and pe
aceful place ideal for a short weekend trip. This district is famous for having tourist attractions in which people can easily enjoy the fresh air.  One of its most famous attractions is the central park of Miraflores, called" parque Kennedy", where you can find 
a lot of local commerce, international restaurants and Peruvian art exhibition. The security is much better than in other districts, you will find a police man troughtout the district and you will be able to ask them for help because most of them speak english. Go for a walk and ride in the middle of the streets is really common during the day. Additionally, Miraflores is more wonderful at night with exciting places to visit such as bars, shopping centers, open air cinemas and art galleries for general public.

Barranco is one of the smallest districts on the south of Lima.  Near the Pacific ocean and bordering Miraflores, Chorrillos and Surco, Barranco is and amazing old-fashioned getaway and the ideal place to go if you want to have cultural experiences. One of the most astonishing places in this district is “El puente de los suspiros”, which is known for being a romantic destination for lovers of all ages. Barranco is also a cultural space in which you can find Mario Testino’s museum (MATE) and magical plays in “el microteatro”. This district holds very eccentric places to shop in. For example, “Vernacula" concept store is a different establishment that sells unique pieces of Peruvian and independent art. If you want to read something while visiting some other places, do not hesitate and visit “La libre de Barranco”, this a bookstore/library stands out from the others because it provides a cozy and calm reading space. Barranco is the ideal place when it comes to nightlife. Picas Bar is one of the best choices you can make because there are three different and incredible spaces (lounge,terrace and a great room) in which you can have a perfect night while enjoying the amazing view of “El puente de los suspiros”. “Sargento Pimienta” is another fabulous bar where you can enjoy some rock music and have a good time with friends while dancing or drinking. There's no doubt Barranco is the best place for you if you want to visit charming and beautiful attractions, have fun with friends or spend time with your family. Lunahuana has different touristic destinations. You can go visit the Incahuasi Archeological Site, built in 1438 during the empire of the Inca Pachacutec. One of the main reasons people go there is to do boating along Lunahuana’s river. There, activities are suited for everyone. All around the main square you can find a lot of restaurants where you can eat a little bit of everything of the Peruvian gastronomy. And for desertyou could also find a couple of places to have some ice cream.

If you are planning to go during March, you would be part of a festivity called “The Grape Festival”. Lunahuana is also known because its wine production, which is why you would try different types of wines during the festival. Lunahuana is a place full of hidden adventures you won't ever regret. San Bartolo is an amazing short place in the south of Lima. Located only two hours from there, it is a dreaming seaside resort and the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend.
