There's a lot of reason why students turn off their camera during the online class. Students have to stay focused on online learning. Students are also still required to pay attention to every material and interaction from the teacher. Therefore, instead of face-to-face, we should turn on the camera during virtual learning. But, there are several reasons why students do not turn on their zoom cameras.
1) The first reason is fatigue. We school 5 days a week, with approximately 9-8 hours from morning to evening plus just sitting in front of the zoom screen, lack of exercise, will cause extreme fatigue and drowsiness.
2) The second reason is doing other activities or asked by parents. For example, take something in somewhere. Something like this, students do not want to display in their zoom.
3) The third reason is the most often experienced by students, the zoom meeting started in the morning when the students were still really sleepy and yawning frequently. Turning off the camera is one way to listen to the teacher's explanation by lying down. In face-to-face meetings, they feel sleepy when listening to the teacher's explanation, especially in virtual meetings. But the difference is when they do virtual learn they have the convenience of covering their sleepiness. So by turning off the camera, they feel safe, then being caught sleeping.
4) The fourth reason is students' multitasking ability. While listening to the teacher's explanation, they may do other activities. Such as opening the Instagram application, WhatsApp, scrolling TikTok, and other activities to divert the boredom they feel when listening to the explanation of the material from the teacher.
5) And last, the camera is damaged or has device problems (Laptop/PC/HP), is slow, or has a bad connection. Maybe some teachers/lecturers may consider it just an excuse for students to lie down or not pay attention to the material. But in fact, sometimes it is truly experienced by students. And it makes them feel tense, anxious, and even afraid the device they are using has problems.

Bob decided to stay home the next day because he was too tired from all his bad luck.

The youtube video I chose was Hell Joseon. The part of the video that really inspired me was how the position of students in Korea was and here we take an example of one of the leading universities in South Korea, Yonsei University. There are three representatives of graduate students from the university and said that to get into university, they have to fight many exams, one of them is "Suneun" or like SAT (exam before entering university) but of course, it's not easy. All students who want to enter this university must pursue grades in order to pass, in fact, there are 60% to 70% of students repeat the exam many times to get the best results to get into their dream university. And this has become commonplace in Korea because Korea is one of the countries with the best education in the world. With nearly 70% of students wanting to get into the university they want. One of them is at Yonsei University or South Koreans call it SKY University, to get into this university must be very difficult, the competition is unmatched and the competition is very fierce.

One of the words in the video that touched me the most was that the older we get the smaller our dreams become. When we have worked hard to get into the university we want, the next step is we have to work harder to get the job we want. So in my opinion, besides education in Korea is good, and almost all students there want to go to college, but Korea is also a country with a population density level, the job market is already filled, while there are still many people who want to have jobs. Besides that, there are not a few students who think about suicide because of the pressure they feel with anxiety about their future careers.

For me, the way to define happiness is where I don't want to have burdens, time to appreciate my own efforts and appreciate myself for something that we have achieved so far.
