I enrolled in the SFC ITE program to build a strong technical foundation in information technology and cybersecurity. I wanted hands-on experience that prepares me for real-world environments while also strengthening my problem-solving and analytical skills.

I am seeking an entry-level cybersecurity position that allows me to support security operations, risk management, and policy implementation. I decided to enroll in the Santa Fe BAS-IST program to further my education and understanding in the cybersecurity field. I plan to work as a security expert and this program helps me achieve my goal.

I thought it was easier to just continue my education at SFC as there wasn't many universities in particular at the time that offered it when I found out about the BAS program.

I am from New Jersey, then lived in Illinois for many years, before moving to Florida 10 years ago. The weather is definatley nicer down here.

I am interested in learning more about the various tools and techniques in the industry. As well as get more hands on experience with labs using security tools.

My future goal is to complete this semester than continue working towards getting more certifications, and possibly looking at the MBA programs in information security.

After completing my education I would seek entry level jobs in IT security, or even stay in my current role and seek what opportunities arrive with my current place of employment.

My interests are just about any thing in tech, I find drones, robotics, and new tech fascinating. I also enjoy getting out doors, kyaking in the rivers and springs, going to the beach, and love golf.
