I do like how the letters are used heavily through the animation, with the characters using them and them becoming characters themselves. I like the simple character design and the 2D style because it makes them look quite papery and I think that this could look good for my animation. I also like how they have used other parts of the set to turn them into other objects, as well as how the have experimented with size and how all the images connect together on a page. This makes everything feel a lot more connected and has a very clear flow during the animation. I do not want my film to have action in but by adding the same quick style animation I could create tense situations to go with my creepy theme. The character that they have used in the animation have been designed quite simply, using basic sharp shapes and bold but block colours. Where the other two are quite colourfull this one uses lots of dark colours to show the fact that this is quite a gloomy film. I want to create a thriller so I could copy off this technique and use it to make a dull but surreal dream sequence.
