Nelson Mandela was the first black  president of South Africa, he became the president in the year 1994 and ended in 1999.
Nelson Mandela was fightning to destory the Apartheid goverment, since they where making raceist laws, where the whites where allowed to do more.
Nelson Mandela was one of the first lawyers in South Africa.
