When I Did Pedicures This Summer: This summer I took on a new task of pedicures to earn money, I had already mastered pedicures, all I had to master now was painting the person toe nails. It was so hard trying to not get too much paint on the brush or for the polish not to get on the side of the persons toe. This is where I started to manipulate the brush and start in the middle, and I started observing how it looked better that way.
Finger Waves In Cosmetology:
This is a great example for me because everything we did was hands on. I had to create finger waves for a grade but as an activity. It was necessary for me to do this activity in order to learn the process of finger waves. My teacher and I both reflected on my work in order for me to perfect my craft and to comprehend the activity.

(Articulative/Reflective)
Learning to Drive:
I feel as though I encountered this meaningful learning while I was learning how to drive. When I first got into the drivers seat I was very much puzzled, but as I began to observe and make sense of it all I grasp the concept. I began to drive to and got a better understanding of the concept.
Learning to Cook:
Another activity that I grasped a better concept about because I got involved in activities was cooking. I want so much to learn how to bake and cook and this pandemic was the perfect experience. My first dish was mac an cheese, which my grandmother explained how she made hers and she did not right it down. I had to memorize it all and at first I did not know what to do. I soon adapted and learned how to make my own version of mac and cheese.
</sub>

(Goal-Directed/Regulatory)
Getting my Bachelors In Education: In the fall of 2019 I started studying to grasp my degree in education. I am currently still on that journey in getting my degree. My goal in the end to get my Masters in Education and become the principal of a school.
My First Week of My Spring 2021 Semester: I have decided to take on a whole 18 hours, which is equivalent to 7 classes in my case. I chose to this because my intention is to graduate in four years instead of five years. Because of my huge course load my goal is to finish all my work ahead of time instead the day of or the day after.

</sup>

(Complex/Contextual)
Roller Sets In Cosmetology:
In cosmetology, my instructor when are assignments were on hand, she would immediately change the whole classroom to a real life situation. For example, she time me on my roller sets because it should take two hours today and an hour tomorrow for me to finish one set. She was adapting me to the real world immediately.
English Class In High School:
My English teacher swore from the moment we stepped into her class that she would be getting us equipped for the college lifestyle. She would make assignments with shorter and shorter due dates. She also would make the assignments more in depth and more longer.

(Collaborative/Conversational)
Basketball:
 A situation where learning has been more beneficial while working collaboratively is when I learned how to dribble in basketball. It was a long process in learning how to dribble but eventually I got so mad when people tried to steal my ball that I started to, without me knowing, guarding my ball the proper way. With that skill came me learning how to dribble, it might've took a little over a month but my team was very proud of me.
Learning My Times Table:
In the 2nd grade instead of my teacher giving us a times table to study she had this method. We would play a game called," All Around The World," which would consist of us going around the classroom competing against our peers. It was 1vs1 and the loser of the round would have to sit down as the winner would continue ti compete against the whole class. This collaborative assignment help me learn my times table because who would want to lose a game against a peer, plus their was an incentive.
