However, I ran into problems of using the charcoal pencil lightly to create different grades of shading and was unable to blend the charcoal properly. If I could do this again differently I would start off with a more open picture that doesn't have too many objects in it. I do believe I selected a good image because my cat has texture on her fur, and a wide range of dark and light patterns on her.
