Liam: I ‘ ve heard a lot about Turkey . but it’s better to learn from someone who is actually from there. where is Turkey located ?

Ayşe : Turkey is located between Asia and Europe , acting like a bridge between the two continents ıt’s capital is Ankara , but the two continents. It’s capital is Ankara , but the largest and best -know city is Istanbul

Liam: I heard that Istanbul connects two continents !

Ayşe : That’s right! Thanks to the Bosphours, the city is partly in Asia and partly in Europe . It’s very special with its historical sites and rich culture .

Liam : what is Turkish culture like ?

Ayşe : Turkish culture is colorful and diverse hospitality is very imporant to us . And our food-kebap , baklava ,döner , mantı-is famous all aroud the world .

Liam : Amazing ! what about Turkey’s natural beauty?

Ayşe : Cappydocia’s fairy chimneys, Pamukkale ‘s wihite travertines , and the turquoise coats of the mediterranean are all very famous .It’s a great country for nature covers

Liam : That sounds incedible . I’d love to visit Turkey someday

The Baklagiloğlu family lives in the countryside. Mr. Baklagiloğlu is a CEO and works in an office. Mrs. Baklagiloğlu is a doctor. She works at a private hospital.

On the other hand, the Toklacıoğlu family lives in Türkiye. Mrs. Toklacıoğlu is a teacher. She works at a school and loves her students. Mr. Toklacıoğlu is an archaeologist. He works on excavations and researches artifacts.

On this day, we hang Turkish flags in our homes and schools. In the morning, students recite poems and perform shows. Adults attend ceremonies. People also join torchlight parades with music and flags.

It is a very proud and emotional day for all of us because we celebrate our independence and unity.

​Protecting Nature: I will ensure visitors stay on marked paths to prevent damage to plants.

​Quiet Zones: I will create quiet areas around the lakes so animals can drink water safely.

​Awareness: I will prepare signs and brochures to encourage people to protect nature.
