It's filled with stacks of green discs called thylakoids, which contain chlorophyll, the pigment which captures sunlight. These thylakoids are surrounded by a liquid called stroma, where the actual work of photosynthesis happens. </p></li><li><p>Its main job is to capture sunlight and covert in into energy through a process called photosynthesis. </p></li></ol>]]></description>
