The game is played like this:

One kid holds a piece of cloth, or a handkerchief and goes around the classroom, while the other ones are singing and sitting on a circle.

The kid who is going around leaves an empty space on the circle.

Once the kid with the handkerchief taps another kid on the back, the two kids chase each other.

The first who sits on the blank space the kid holding the handkerchief left on the circle, wins!

The game goes on until all kids have played.

The game starts with two kids. Each one represents a team and is called the team captain.

In our case, the kids chose flowers to name their teams after, so we had the team "rose" and the team "daisy".

The two captains clap their hands in a rhythm, singing a song, while the rest of the class forms a queue and passes between the two captains' hands.

When the song ends, the captains catch the kid who is in front of them at that time.

They ask the kids which team he wants to be a member of.

Once all the kids have played and the two teams have been formed, the teacher puts a rope between the two teams.

The members of each team hold the kid in front of them tight, forming a chain, while the two captains try to pull each other towards their side.

The team who manages to pull the opposite one towards their direction wins!
