Germany was divided into many sort of unified states, with Austria and Prussia being the strongest. In the wake of the Napoleonic Wars a German confederation was formed, but was unsuccessful in stopping the rivalry between Austria and Prussia. The Prussians created a confederation in 1833 which unified a couple of the German states. As calls for unification grew louder, it created the revolutions of 1848. Bismarck was able to provoke France to strike them first.

In Germany 1871, one of the main leaders was Otto Von Bismarck. Although Bismarck wasn't atop the ladder, he was second and made all of the political decisions. Bismarck was educated in Berlin and pursued a Catholic struggle. Otto Von Bismarck was the Prime Minister of Germany and led the world to WWI. Bismarck used very clever tactics to get things to fall his way, like making France attack him first and the obliterating them like he planned.

Because of the importation of slaves to Haiti, there were people who were not very fond of each other that had to live near each other. There were only 30,000 free people of color in Haiti at this time. Most of the population was made up of slaves and they were not happy about their living conditions and how they were treated, so they revolted.

In Haiti 1804, there was a revolution having to do with the slaves in Haiti. The Spanish began to enslave native slaves and of course the slaves were not the slightest bit happy about that. European diseases came over to Haiti and killed many people. Thousands of people were imported from the Caribbean and were killed because of these diseases. Toussaint Louverture, a former slave gained control of several areas. Charles Leclerc battled Toussaint and eventually Haiti gained independence.

In Brazil, there was a 10 year old girl forced to get married to a 17 year old man, which she was not happy about. Portugal and Brazil broke apart and Portugal wanted them to come back, but Brazil did not. Because of this, John VI was split between Portugal and Brazil. They wrote a constitution for their own independence and gained independence without any violence.
