One of the key aspects of enhancing perception involves working on sound discrimination which may involve place cue differences (e.g., front or back). This can mean isolating the phoneme out of the word and acoustically highlighting it. Contrasts are in the areas of attention, discrimination, memory, productions, and comprehension through contrasting phonemes that are not accurately percieved.
