First, I chose family because Mibs traveled with her family to go see her dad in the hospital. Next, I chose brave because she was brave when she rode the bus for a few days. I also chose the word journey because she was on a journey throughout the entire book. The journey on the bus was the setting of the book. 

                Nest, I chose the word road. The road trip is the scene where Mibs found out she had powers. They stayed on the road trip for several days. Finally, I chose the word powers because she had a special power (savvy) that she discovered on the journey. Her family also had special powers too.

The book Savvy by Ingrid law Is about a girlnamed Mississippi or Mibs with a special power. It was very interesting when she and her siblings and friends took a bus ride to see her dad. The author did a great job making the character believable. I haven’t read a book like this one.

This book was interesting because it is about Mibs’ journey of learning her special power (savvy). Her family all shared a different special power. I would recommend this book to other readers. It keeps you guessing about what happens next. I didn’t want to out the book down
