Post College: Write a thank you letter to all the different entities involved in the college tour.

-Look at cost of college (tuition, room/board, books, parking, etc...)

-Explore various types of options and cost associated with each

-GPA Calculations

-Sliding scales with test scores/ GPAs and what colleges desire

-Explain how course credit works

During:

-Instructing students to pay attention to all of the costs that they see while visiting the college

Post:

-Budgeting for dream job/ college including scholarships and financial aid

-Salary/ compensation investigations

-Bureau of Labor statistics

-Career trajectory

-Cost of living activities

During:

-Individually research by talking to various career professionals with an emphasis on salary and compensation as well as opportunities for growth

Post:

-Budgeting activity

-Further, in-depth explorations of what career interests them (vision board)

-Students choose to focus in on a few career choices applicable to their specific pathway/ academy.

During:

-Talk research (individually as each industry tour is varied and specific)

-Have students collect specific data applicable to that careers salary, compensation, growth opportunities, and education/ training required

Post:

-Taking the information and data they collected during the tour to reanalyze the explorative work of the pre-activity.

-Students will update and finalize their findings and data in Xello

-Students will also be given the opportunity to revisit their vision board from 9th grade and decide if their visualized path is still viable
