We investigated different university's running courses in media which we want to progress onto, this was interesting as I gave me a insight into what I may want to do next. There are so many different degrees I can study for at university to do with advertisement. We looked at the qualifications that were needed to apply for each course , many of them were level 3 diploma or equivalent in Media. The next task was to research apprentichips and internships around the area as this is another option I could take if I didn't want stay in education and instead wanted experience, I found multiple apprentichips in variety of areas of the media industry although I couldn't find any internships as this industry doesn't really have frequent internships like other professions.

As team leader i think that the work went every well! I organised my co-workers with different and even tasks , spreading the work evenly across the group so that we all contributed a similar amount. When each member had completed their required work , they would upload the work to the pad let area and then help the others if they had not completed their work yet. Today we have identified the different contracts in the media industry and given the benefits and drawbacks of all of them, this research has overall given us a better understanding of the industry we work in.

In the session today we were planning and writing our personal statements which then had to be peer assessed as well as annotated with improvements considered and acted upon. I found writing my personal statement rather easy as i already had a good idea of what to write from my prep work. Although there were areas i got stuck on as i find it difficult to highlight the good areas of my self as my brain is not use to promoting myself like i had to. During this session we attended a lecture on finances where we discussed life after and during education and the costs that go along side it like national insurance tax and road taxes. We established the living cots as well as the over gross and net income of a average 16-18 year old. Then we began to refine our CV's so that we could start to apply for jobs and careers in the future, i found this fairly simple as there was little to change on my work.

We began by taking a look into the the types of professions we want after higher education, such as animator, camera operator and director. We then explored the education and experience we need to reach these professions like BA Honours in advertisement and which universities provide the facilities for this learning and we created documents with evidence of both qualifications need and location as well as summary of the course.
