I am in my third year of teaching first grade and absolutely love it! I student taught in first grade, worked as an aide in kindergarten, and was a long term substitute teacher in kindergarten through second grade learning support and first grade. It is neat to reflect on the changes now that I am actually teaching! My main belief is that students must be loved and comfortable in order to learn. My class is like my family. We call ourselves a class family. The main goal for my students is that they will be the best they can be and be kind. With those three things, students are able to learn.
