How Is Geothermal Energy Turned Into Electricity? (Flash Steam)

Wells are drilled very deep. The water is pulled up to the surface. The pressure is lessened as it rises and creates steam. The high pressured steam and the rest of the water is separated and the water is turned into either standard or low pressured steam. Any water that was not turned into steam is returned to underground. The turbine is where the steam comes together again and is turned into energy. The steam spins the turbine blades which turn a shaft that is a connected to a generator. Magnets inside the generator rotate and create an electrical charge. The electricity is then moved to a machine called the transformer where the voltage is increased and then is sent out to our homes and buildings.
