A nurse can help to reduce IPV by advocating for the patient in screenings and providing support.

If there is a thought that a women/girl is being used in trafficking make sure to advocate for them and provide support.

In the healthcare setting nurses can be discriminated against in pay even though women make up about 90% of the nursing career. By supporting coworkers in rising into leadership positions they are able to push for equal pay.
