When I think of a scientist I picture someone who wears a lab coat and goggles. Their hair is a bit crazy from all of the failed experiments, but their eyes are wide trying to stay awake to figure out the missing piece of the puzzle.

Someone with messy, crazy hair and determined eyes. someone willing to make a difference and put their mind and body to work to find an answer. A scientist lets their curiosity run wild to determine everything around them. When I think of a scientist, I think of a lab coat and glasses wearing genius. Usually wearing thick gloves and working with a beaker in a lab. There is typically some type of smoke rising from the beaker as the scientist is conducting some sort of experiment.

I think of his hair and the mass chaos that goes along with it. I think of nothing but pure brilliance in a lab wrapped in dangerous chemicals and random explosions.  I hear nothing due to the thoughts and attention that go into each experiment.  There is an unusual scent with a fog covering the lab.

When I think of science, I think of hands on experiments that may or may not have the potential to explode if performed incorrectly. So, that explains all of the crazily drawn science instruments. I tried to make the mad scientist in my picture look like he was waving and had a white glove on. But, sadly, it looks as if his hand was involved in a science experiment gone very wrong. The same logic goes for his hair, smile, and eyes. I intended on him looking way more professional than he ended up. They are always curious about the environment around them, even at the molecular level. They want to know how things work.  Their physical appearance usually depends on what they are doing.  They take safety seriously, wear protective eyewear, are obsessive about every single detail. They understand that science is messy; so, they wear lab coats and clothing they don't mind getting dirty.  Scientist are very process oriented people.
