Last week I travelled to Bulgaria for work. We had to take a flight from Barcelona to Belgrade and then we had to change plane from there to Sofia. We were sitting on the first plane for more than half an hour, but the plane didn't take off, because there was some problem. We left the airport very late, so by the time we arrived in Belgrade our flight had already embarqued; we arrived at the departure gate but the plane was not there. I pacnicked but a flight attendant told us that the plane was waiting for us and a van took us there.

Fortunately everything was fine because we were flying with the same company.

Next time I'll try to get a direct flight, if it's possible!

All the summer we stay in a camping near the beach. When we want to go to the bathroom, we have to walk from the caravan to the community bathroom.

On 3rd July I went there at 3 o'clock p.m. to piss before having lunch. We were talking and eating macaroni when I realized I had forgotten my mobile phone on <s>the</s> top of the toilet paper, so I ran <s>over</s> back there. In that moment I felt nervous thinking about someone having picked it up. However, it was in the same position that I had left it. I nearly <s>missed</s> lost my mobile phone!

That day in which my grandmother and I had an accident with the car

I was about 11 when all <s>of</s> that happened.

My parents are divorced, and <s>in</s> at that time my brother and I had to go to our father’s house every fifteen da<s>i</s>ys. In one of that weekends, we went to visit a farm school (I don’t remember where). We had a very good time among animals, feeding the goats, going in horse carts and riding donkeys.

At the end of the morning, we had to return to the cars in order to get to the house and have lunch, and I insisted <s>to</s> on going in my grandmother’s car (who came with <s>as</s> us from the beginning). We were behind my father’s car, following him, and nothing indicated that something bad was about to happen. Suddenly, a sharp curve appeared <s>to as</s> in front of us on the road, and my father slowed down. We knew it had rained the night before, and the road could be a bit wet. My grandmother slowed down too, but the wheels slipped anyway. We ran off the road, but luckily (I want to think so) we stopped because we hit a STOP sign that slowed us down.

Apart from the crash nothing catastrophic happened, and my father called the ambulance and the police.

I thought that I <s>didn’t get</s> had not had any consequence about that, but four months after the accident I was frightened of curves <s>in</s> on the road.

My Skiing Disaster

In 2019, I had a boyfriend who was a ski instructor in winter. He loved skiing and insisted on teaching me so we could share his passion. However, I had always been very clumsy.

We went to Baqueira for a weekend to ski. I remember that as soon as I put on the skis, I was terrified—I kept losing control. Little by little, I started gaining confidence, but it did not last long. While trying to stop, my skis spread apart, and I fell to my knees. I remember feeling a lot of pain.

It took me a week to go to the doctor's and have an ultrasound because the pain had decreased, although I was still uncomfortable. I had torn my soleus muscle by 3 cm. I had to stop doing sports for about two months and do rehabilitation, mostly in the swimming pool.

Since then, I have never worn skis again. Luckily, I now have another boyfriend, and his hobbies are not dangerous! 😉

There <s>was</s> were a lot of people in the street, and suddenly I ran after their son, Eloy. I ran a few seconds and then I lost sight of him. I looked around and couldn't see my parents. I was lost, and it made me very worried. I walked around for about fifteen minutes before approaching a man to ask for help. This man saw that I was lost, and he asked me for my address. I told him, and we went to the door of my house to wait for my parents. An hour later my mom appeared with tears in her eyes. We were very happy because she <s>was find</s> had found me.

Every day we would meet there with his friends to have a snack and play for a while.

That day I explained to him that we couldn't stay there for more than half an hour because we had a dentist's appointment. Marcel was very afraid of the dentist so he hid. After a while I realised that he was not playing with his friends. I panicked and started looking for him around the park, I asked all the mothers about him and I phoned his father in case he had gone home alone. However, I had no luck. Nobody had seen him. I was desperate and didn't know what to do.

Suddenly I thought I saw a shadow behind a tree. I approached from behind and there was my son!

He had been hiding there the whole time. What a horrible experience!

Once, I almost missed a final exam at university. I studied a lot because that exam was very important for my final grade. The night before, I went to bed late after studying and set my alarm, but I was so tired that I didn’t hear it.

I woke up suddenly and saw the time. I only had forty minutes to get there. I panicked. I got dressed quickly, didn’t have breakfast, and ran out of the house. The university was far away, so I walked as fast as I could. The whole way, I was thinking about what would happen if I was late: Would they let me in? Would I fail the exam?

When I arrived, they were giving out the exam papers. I went into the classroom quietly, trying not to attract attention. My heart was still beating fast, but I sat down and started answering the questions. I felt nervous for arriving so late.

In the end, I finished the exam and got a good grade. But after that, I learned to set more than one alarm, especially on important days.

I want to tell you about an exciting sports event I saw in Norway. I was there at the beginning of February on an exchange program with my school. I watched a ski jumping training session. Many athletes practiced jumping on a long ramp. They ran fast and jumped very high into the air. I was amazed to see their skills and the speed they reached. The event was exciting and full of energy. There wasn't a lot of crowd because of a train session but who was there clapped and cheered after every jump. I left the place feeling very happy and excited about the sport. It was an unforgettable experience.
