It is also when people want to destroy something with out real importance, for example the fire bombing of Dresden in World War Two. The Allies thought that Dresden was a Nazi military base and utterly destroyed the city, it was a mistake and a shame on the U.S. for doing that. Many terrorist acts are made by groups of people in countries that are in poverty or chaos. Terrorism has taken many forms over the years.
