This shows my artistic growth through Q1. I started with no color and no elements of 3d toward good vibrant pieces of art with depth and creativity. I worked on my smart goal which was developing a sense of 3D elements and making things look more realistic.

We watched a video on Heather Hansen and learned about the value of a line. We then went outside with chalk and sat on the ground and drew without any intention of drawing something that wasn't random

Still Life

When we did still life's, we learned about techniques for how to make a still Life realistic and eye catching. The item I brought for my still Life was my golf glove because it fit the requirements and it represented my favorite thing to do. My planning mainly contained moving my object to the correct spot and practicing my shading.

Line Weight

For my line weight project, I chose to create my own golf hole and draw it. I used line weight on things that were closer or further away, and on bigger and smaller things. My critiques showed that I was good at creativity and focusing on the larger and more important things. My critiques also showed that I need to pay better attention to small details.

Still Life

The object I selected for my project was my golf glove. I applied new shading techniques taught to me by my art teacher because it made my art look better. I learned about shading backgrounds and making things look realistic. My critique showed that I was really creative and good at larger detail drawing, but was lacking in focusing on smaller details.

Ive really enjoyed art class this year. I have learned a lot and got a lot better. I can now draw something 3D with color instead of just stick figures and air. I love the vibe in here and how this class is chill but also really helpful
