This was a theatrical learning environment. I considered this a learning environment because people were learning from a director how to set up, and take down the set and stage props. Children from 3 years old to 13 years old were also receiving acting and blocking instructions from the director.

The culture of the rehearsal space was a mexican american, amateur performance and kid-friendly, beginers-theatre culture. People were using spanglish, and learning basic theatre terms such as "stage left" "lights up." The Director and other parents were also very patient with the excitedly energetic kids. The driving culture behind everything though was a Christian culture.
