Why teaching digital citizenship is important

It's important to teach digital citizenship because it's important for the students to understand safety on the internet and make sure that their interactions online are safe. And to also understand cyberbullying and how that can negatively affect people's life's and just because the bullying isn't happening face to face doesn't mean that it isn't bullying or easier to be ignored, especially because everyone is online constantly and how that cyberbullying can follow a person on multiple platforms.

Here the students can play this game Digital Compass, a story-based game about internet interactions, they can pick one character and make choices based on the story progression, their choices will lead to a good or bad ending.
