This cartoon is explaining Hitler’s desire to have an empire united with land of the past or just other possible allies. Furthermore, Hitler is represented as an adult with the theme of Christmas because of the seasonal timing while the other countries (Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, etc.) The sack that Hitler holds states “Germany over all” due to his belief and the ideology that he is spreading as these countries are influenced. However, the babies are coming from a bed with a frame writing “Ex French-British family” meaning the British feel the Germans are taking over their own influence. These countries used to ally or be part of a “family” with the British and French side but they feel that Germany is trying to take this away from them. Hitler is also shown as Father Christmas with a sack of gifts representing the relationship he has with these countries. The newspaper is showing British people that it isn’t friendly or mutual but instead dominant. This is because it showcases Hitler lifting a child and dropping him into a sack instead of influencing them to “Deutschland Uber Alles” any other way.

The cartoon portrait Adolf Hitler, noticeable by his iconic mustache as the trusty and beloved character of Santa Clause. Hitler is collecting babies from a bed named ex french-British family, underneath it are name of the nation of the ally. This could symbolize how Hitler is using propaganda, to lure in the members of the alliance, The propaganda could be represented in Hitler dressing up as Santa Clause.

In the cartoon, Hitler is dressed up in full malicious black, contrasting the innocent white of the baby representing the allies, this could be make to point out which side is being mocked in the cartoon.

Babies are symbol for innocent and naive. This could possible symbolize how the ally naively craw into Hitler's bait.
