Pandemic time: challenging (masks, gloves, waste - everywhere). GE

Special companies, producing emissions GE
Huge landfills were constructed, ni recycling yet, only some attempts. Recycling = incineration by Russian laws, still many landfields instead of recycling (RU)
Another problem in Russia: in rural far reached areas it is a big challenge  - the waste management in Russia the responsibilities of the administration for the waste management (no mechnaism, no money)
People are eco-iileteriate and do not behave eco-correctly.

Cities are growing: cities and towns are the main living place now, but many of them have not very good environmental quality and it influences to citizens
to cities pollution I would like to point out problems with cigaretts butts which people carelessly throw on ground. It contain lot of toxins and also plastics which decompose into microplastics and affect earth organisations as well it got into water recources

Water pollution (MD)
Water pollution in Moldova due to the lack of sewerage systems and water treatment facilities. According to 2019 official data there are only 8% of of settlement connected to the wsewerage systems anonly 75 functional wastewater treatment facilis in the country.

Industrial actvities impact on air, land and water pollution and lead to illnesses including heart and lung diseases

Ru: dramatic increase in pollution and the quality is descreasing, URGNET.
==waste===
up to the legislation on how to tackle it. in EU producers responsible for recycling. in Ru it is eco-profit to recycle. Not case for RU. That;s the biggest problem, the legal part should changes.

cause various deseases (air pollution)

internation (eduction, for official and authorities)
scientifical research: results to publsh (internet)
mass media: Roshydromet is publishing data on water pollution, people do not know about that, we need mass media to embark (speak about that).

municipalities and central government jointly (reccomendations given by EU and other development partners)

5. How could educational system facilitate behavioral change to solve this problem?

Education (waser consumption, SEA, EIA)
Awareness: on CC intergration in the long-term development plans: specials, education (UA).
Educate all groups, not only children: working, elder people (about)
Trainings for Public authroties (for responsible usage)

Having more specific reccomendations on CC consideration in to the local development
==waste===
people should be more-and more aware
awareness about recycling, with involvment of famous people (so young will follow them).
==industrial pollution==
working with schools, preschools and universities (across all levels): toolkits, materials prepared, shared...

Pollution: involvement of goverment, population from rurla areas (easier to implement small scale solutions that can work in the field and those have techologies).

campaign and mass media involvemt for rasing awareness
