    Most programmers learn some computer language while they're in school. Although a computer science degree gives students skills that are needed to learn computer language easily. Lots of students gain experience by completing an internship at a software company while in college.
    In high school you should take as much math as possible. A computer science degree requires 22 hours of math. If it is possible it is smart to take a calculus course in high school. Also physics and chemistry are good to take too.
