Besides the sysytem of slavery one point in history where Black/ African american people were deprived of their right was in 1860, Blacks were discriminated against in such rights as voting,  property ownership, and freedom of movement.This information can be found in page five, paragraph three and sentence number two.
 

2. Besides the Emancipation Proclamation ("End" of Slavery in U.S. )what is one successful point in History for Black / African American people. (Include Pg. Number)

Besides the Emancipation Proclamation ("End" of Slavery in U.S. ) One successful point in History for Black / African American people was in 1975  when the Civil Rights Act of  1957, the first federal civil rights legislation to be passed  since 1875, authorized the federal government to take legal measures to prevent a citizen from being denied voting rights. This information can be found in page 16 paragraph 4 sentence 2.


3. Share one new specific piece of information that you learned from the reading. (Include Pg. Number)

One new piece of information that I learnd from the reading  was that when slaveholder labels of black and negro were offensive, so they chose the euphemism coloured when they were freed. I knew this aready, but it nice for it to be confired. This information can be found in page two paragraph one sentence two.
